In the morning of June11, the12th China_South Asia Business Forum was inaugurated in Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Colorful Yunnan Kunming. The Comprehensive Health Sub-Forum has gatheredll industrial experts, entrepreneurs, representatives of industry associations, who exchanged ideas and offered inputs for international cooperation and innovation-powered development of the comprehensive health industry.
Themed“Innovation and Development of the Comprehensive Health Industry”, the Comprehensive Health Sub-Forum was organized by the Secretariat of the China_South Asia Business Forum, and Zhongguancun Prominent NEEQ Enterprise Development Promotion Association. The Comprehensive Health Sub- Forum elaborated on and discussed innovation-oriented development, new models, information services, and intelligent management and services of the comprehensive health industry. The aim was to boost cooperation among participated enterprises and countries of South Asia, Southeast Asia, and beyond in commodities, capital, human resources, technologies, information, services, management, and innovation of the comprehensive health industry, and to shape a new mechanism of mutual benefit, win_win, and sharing.
Several foreign guests made keynote speeches in the forum, and shared the status quo, models, experience, and prospects of the medical care and health industry, including Sudhakar Jayaram, Executive Director and CE0 of Cancer Care Commission, and Md Saidul Islam Dastagir, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Indenting Agents’ Association.
Yin Ke, an expert committee member of International Organization for Standardization(IS0) Technical Committee(TC) on Health Informatics and the president of Zhongguancun Prominent NEEQ Enterprise Development Promotion Association, focused on the innovative development models of the comprehensive health industry from four aspects, namely medical care, health preservation, fitness, and health management, and highlighted the trend of upgrade and innovation of medical care, medicine, health preservation, elderly care, fitness, health management and services in the era of digitalization and Internet Plus.
Ruan Hongxian, the chairman of Yunnan Hongxiang Yinxintang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, pointed out that to pursue the innovative and internationalized development of the comprehensive health industry, we need to give prominence to international cooperation, and at the same time, rely on domestic market. An enterprise has to strengthen its foothold in home market, and only in that way can it gain more in equal exchanges of resources.
Attendees also engaged in dialogs, and representatives of some enterprises in Beijing and Yunnan that got listed on NEEQ have exchanged ideas on the development and innovation of the comprehensive health industry from four aspects, namely medical care, health preservation, fitness, and health management, and shared new concepts, well-established models, and innovative approaches of industries and enterprises. They worked to address the problems and challenges in the development and innovation of industries and enterprises.
Economist Paul Pilzer has predicted that the health industry will emerge as“the Fifth Wave of Wealth” after the IT industry. With the strategic advancement of “Health China” in the13th Five-Year Period, the comprehensive health industry will lead a new wave of economic development. Yunnan Province is blessed with advantages in nature, resources, location, and openness. With the exchanges of global experience and success stories in the forum, the province will prompt the upgrade oftraditional concepts of the comprehensive health industry, and empowerslocal enterprises to tap into the strength of innovation forces andlocal strengths, and to explore an innovation-oriented development path of the comprehensive health industry of Yunnan identities and with international exposure.
